Summary of stated purpose

 

The aim of the Identity Management toolkit is to support universities and colleges in the UK in reviewing and improving how they perform Identity Management. Identity management in computing involves the mapping of real world identities to electronic identities and ensures appropriate use of IT systems.

Supporting evidence

 

The project was endorsed by UCISA, RUGIT, ISAF and JISC Infonet and ran from January 2009 to June 2010. Partners in the project were London School of Economics, Cardiff University, University of Bristol and Kidderminster College.
