Summary of stated purpose

 

The aim of the Impact Calculator is to help institutions demonstrate the impact of records and information management by:

 

  1. Quantifying the tangible benefits or efficiency gains that can be derived from it
  2. Identifying and recording the efficiency savings and costs of a process redesign
  3. Determining if and when a Return on Investment (ROI) is made
  4. Quantifying efficiency savings in monetary and non-monetary terms

Supporting evidence

 

Reports from the six pilots providing qualitative and quantitative data are available on web site. These include King’s College London, University of Nottingham, Cardiff University, Bodlean Library Oxford, Aberdeen University and The University of Huddersfield.
