Summary of stated purpose
The purpose of XCRI-CAP is to enable information about courses and other kinds of learning opportunity to be shared efficiently between the computerised information systems used by learning providers and organisations collecting, aggregating and publishing information about courses.
The framework has been developed to help Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) assess their progress towards implementing XCRI-CAP: eXchanging Course Related Information, Course Advertising Profile. The framework leads through a series of multiple choice questions (on Institutional Strategic Policy, Planning the Output, Management Implementation and Technical Implementation).
